On September 5th I witnessed the signing of the Agreement between the Dominican Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Research (IDIAF) and the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Agrarian Economy (CREA). With this agreement the IDIAF and CREA will participate in joint projects on agricultural development.
CREA is the main Italian research body with scientific competence in the agricultural, forestry, nutrition, fish farming and socioeconomic sectors, with a focus on the agri-food sector and reports directly to the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.

He was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugo Rivera, The Dominican ambassador in Rome, Alba Maria Cabral, and Fabio Frías from the IDIAF.
